  At Mead Cattle Enterprises, we have always believed in a no-nonsense approach to breeding cattle. Our family farm supports our 350 brood cows with no added inputs which dictates the type of cattle that we select for -- productive and efficient ones. Through generations of performance testing, we have been able to identify the outliers of each calf crop and observe the cows that consistently rise to the top. These cows are the foundation for The Mead Program. Our cow herd exemplifies the productivity that a beef cow needs to be profitable in the 21st century.
